Still planning on adding a download link? It would make it easier to listen to this on my commune.
There should be a download button in the audio element. But that may be browser specific, so if it’s not there for you or other people, I’ll throw in a direct link too.
It’s my understanding that the audio element is basically the wild west, and every browser handles it differently.
Running Firefox here and there was no download button, but right clicking the audio player had a ‘save audio as’ option in the context menu.
Not ideal, but might work for you.
Okay, I’ve added download links to the post.
Thank you!
Seconded. I like to listen during my running sessions, and a download link would help a lot.
The asset flippers will be more damaged by the changes to trading cards, because it directly hits their income stream. Steam Direct doesn’t matter that much in comparison.
“Spod” has a slang meaning in Britain, although possibly it’s a little archaic these days. It means something similar to ‘wonk’ or ‘dork’ and is not at all complimentary, without being viciously disparaging. (In previous decades I might have said ‘geek’ or ‘nerd’, but both of those words have developed happily-positive connotations in recent times.) It’s the kind of word you’d use to tease a friend or to gently self-deprecate. So … maybe that actually works quite well?… :p
Any chance you’ll be able to get this up on iTunes? It’s convenient to have all my podcasts in one place.
What you can do is copy the “Entries RSS” link, and then go to the Podcast app on an iDoofer, “Add Podcast,” paste the link in, and “Subscribe.” That seems to work OK by just grabbing the .mp3 files. (I assume it’ll work similarly in iTunes as on a doofer, although I haven’t actually tested that out.)
Can we get a Spodcast-only RSS feed please? Getting text and SW posts in my podcast listener isn’t very useful.
Based on your commentary so far, I recommend the name “AnimeTiddieCast”, pronounced /ˈspɔdkæst/.
That, or some kind of word-substitution (like Disclosure Alert was for Spoiler Warning) using “Forecast” in place of ‘Warning.’
