Well, at least the spirit world isn’t teal.
Josh may like it, but for me, living in the Mojave would makes me wish for a nuclear winter.
You sir have made me laugh hard. You deserve some type of reward and, sadly, I have nothing to give you but my praise.
I’m sure that when he moved out to Vegas he was hoping there’d be more gambling.
Given that this game is set in 1970, it’s also worth mentioning that the October Crisis is going to happen in, well, October, so the FLQ is active during this game’s timeline, bringing in yet another set of tensions between French and English Canada.
I think this voice is what passes for grizzled in canada
Do you guys recommend this game? I’m on the fence about stopping watching and waiting to play it first…
I put my hands in hot water all the time all year round (damn AC) to warm them back up, but I have Renault’s, so I’m much more likely to get chilblains or frostbite than most. Plus, the water hurts less than the cold (I can’t even walk around with an iced coffee in my hands without level 5 pain (on the 1-10 scale)).
I’d think heat hands/feet/whatever up as fast as you can (if core temp is good) to prevent tissue damage from the cold and lack of blood flow, but I’m not sure. I’m a nice Southern girl, after all, I think snow should melt during the day and refreeze as ice at night, and my city owns 1 dump truck with plow attachment per million people.
Also, he keeps talking about his toes being numb. I used to use the “how much does the cold air hurt face” gauge in MA at college, but that’s the coldest place I have any experience with, so I must ask… is that a normal thing? Did he just step out of the car and his face went numb?
(“Renault’s”
Do you mean Raynaud’s?)
