God yes, Josh. Problem Sleuth was so much better. I loved it! I don’t even remember Homestuck…it kind of dragged for me. The plot got so complicated I lost track of it and it started adding so many characters I didn’t care about them. There were sections I just didn’t care because they were focused on characters I didn’t care about. I think that sentence was terribly written.
On a different note, yay for more Rutskarn. Any chance you could convince him to release that system or link to it?
re 27:43 :
Holdo isn’t bad because she’s witholding information from protagonists. Holdo is portrayed as incompetent, because at the moment of severe crisis she witholds vital information from her second in command (Poe is demoted, but at no point Leia named a different CAG, thus he kept his position. And after bridge is destroyed, there are only three higher officers portrayed: Leia (in sickbay), Holdo and Poe).
This could make Holdo into an interesting character (sort of like midshipman Simpson in Hornblower series), but movie fails to build on it, instead going for pointless “viceadmiral goes down with her ship” – guess wherever Holdo was from, they were really into the whole Yamato Damashi thing, with cult of noble failure, blooming into a flower of death and all that stuff.
