Once this guy I know set up a Hackmaster game, citing it was a parody of 2E and tried to get me to join. And I just didn’t get it. It wasn’t funny. It was just…an even more byzantine and unwieldy version of 2E. He only ever managed to convince one person to play it, and that player eventually got bored and quit, so the game died.
I’m really loving this show and would really like to recommend it to people who probably wouldn’t be interested in the regular Spodcast. Is it possible for you to add another tag for the current and future episodes to make that easier to do?
That was quite an episode.
I’m surprised that Ruts didn’t recognize (or call out) that Comeliness was a stat introduced in Unearthed Arcana. Which also had cavalier and barbarian and acrobat classes.
