If you beat the War God (and good luck, he has over 700 HP and 999 Morale), you then get to meet your patron god in person, and they grant you 100 points in whatever score they deem most important. (So for Venus, it’s 100 points of Charisma, I believe.) You also get the War God’s sword, which is even better than the Katana and bonus, it’s not made of iron, so it won’t scare off the elves.
