Jindosh is both one of the most enjoyable and one of the most reprehensible characters in this game. He’s also one of the only antagonists here that you can actually inflict one of Dishonored’s patented fates worse than death on; so much so that even on my high chaos playthrough that I’m currently in the middle of, I ended up “sparing” him, because it just feels more satisfyingly brutal than simply killing him. And I’ll probably end up killing him on any future low chaos runs I do; I’ll spare everyone else, but Jindosh will die.
Why do those guard post things outside even have those hatches in the top? What possible use do they have other than to let people in to rob or murder guards?
I mean, you’d think Corvo would have told Emily about all the tricks he’d used and that as Empress, she would’ve done things to make sure another Outsider-flunkie couldn’t do the same things to her own guards.
Unless she planned on needing them herself one day, but that’s getting a little meta for this setting.
I guess Josh didn’t realise that every wall of light also has a whale oil tank associated with it? and the whale oil tank was directly opposite the rewiring point, in the very same room.
Similarly, I wasn’t even paying attention to the whole code thing, I thought that would be for something past the wall of light and didn’t even consider using the carriage. I cleared the entire area and then did the cliff walking bit.
