1. My brother lives in Amsterdam and once you get into the old city (inside the Keizersgracht) the roads become narrow and suddenly they seem to be mixed use and the cars and bikes expect people to wander into the street. (Also it turns out that a bike-friendly city is also a pushchair friendly city when you have a small child with you, so that’s something)
