Viobranium is a metal, not a stone.
So, we know WHERE the cave guy went, because of spirit time travel, but WHEN’d he go?
😡 Please can we find out where Joe lives so as to send over an evil preferably cannibalistic but in any event vengeful spirit? 😈
I’ve finally figured out what was bothering me about this game; the narrator’s voice sounds exactly like Microsoft Sam. Like, it’s obviously been properly recorded, not built in a voice synthesiser, but the cadences and tone are exactly the same as Microsoft Sam. Maybe it’s the same voice actor.
Aye, I was also thinking there was something a bit Speak & Spell-ey about it. It’s even more pronounced in the Early Access build. (Link in the comments of the previous episode.) Maybe the narrator isn’t from our present day but is instead a sentient robot from the year 23,625 or so.
The way the Narrator speaks kind of reminds me of the Narrator in The Stanley Parable, the way he’s seems distant and kind of bemused. Which I don’t think works so well when the game’s otherwise going for an eerie, cold atmosphere.
Also, I do kind of like the visions, especially with how you’re working backwards from death to their diary.
This game seems like a Canadian Deadly Premonition, but with less zombies and fewer quirky charming characters.
